NZCCM Hawkes Bay, Manawatu and Taranaki Community Day
Saturday, 2 May 2026 - 9:45 am - 3 pm
Join us for this NZCCM community day in Otane, Hawkes Bay. All are welcome, both experienced meditators and those new to Christian meditation.
The speaker will be Anne Chrisp, an Anglican Priest from Palmerston North. Anne gave a retreat in July associated with the NZCCM AGM in Auckland focusing on Celtic Spirituality.
This community day will pick up the same theme, offering in two sessions some further insights into the Celtic way. With the help of a few Gallic saints, we will explore some practices the Celts used to deepen their faith. There will be music and poetry and some suggestions for reflection and creative engagement in the periods of silence.
Facilitator: Anne Chrisp
Anne is an Anglican priest, ordained in 2005. While she ministered for 11 years as vicar at St Peter’s in Palmerston North, she had earlier trained as a spiritual director attracted to the contemplative path. These days, Anne continues as a spiritual director and enjoys offering retreats and quiet days.
