Wellington Community Day
The Ways of the Mystics

Saturday 7th March 10am - 3pm

This day will cover two very different French Catholic mystics, showing the wide variety of contemplative experience.

Brother Lawrence, known through The Practice of the Presence of God, a collection of his conversations and letters, lived in a French monastery in the 17th century. Teilhard de Chardin was a Jesuit priest, scientist, philosopher and mystic, living in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Facilitators: Nick Polaschek & Lois Holmes

Nick and Lois are both oblates of NZCCM and Wellington group leaders.

Community Day Details

All are welcome, both experienced meditators and those new to Christian meditation. 
Please bring your own lunch and a koha to help cover expenses. There's no need to register. There will be two periods of meditation.

We will meet at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 60 Knights Rd, Lower Hutt, Wellington.
